COMEDY CENTRAL is about to show America that daddy doesn't know best when it roasts comedian Bob Saget.
Saget will quickly learn that this is no family-friendly event and will be begging for a time-out during this star-studded evening, which will tape in Los Angeles. The “COMEDY CENTRAL Roast of Bob Saget” will air on Sunday, August 17.
"It's an honor...My ass is already sore," stated Saget.
“Bob Saget is one of the true nice guys. I've apologized to him in advance for what this evening holds in store for him," said Elizabeth Porter, senior vice president, specials and talent for COMEDY CENTRAL.
For some, Bob Saget is known world-wide for his television roles, having set a precedent by simultaneously starring in two top-ten primetime series — the long-running sitcom “Full House” while also serving as the eight-year host of “America’s Funniest Home Videos.”
For others, Bob is known by a more "adult" audience because of his edgier stand-up comedy, theater, television and film work.
